Thousands of participants from over 40 countries all over the world opened the Global Peace Convention 2017 at Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay. The convention explored critical global issues, share best practices and develop innovative, action-drive solutions to building peace while strengthening robust multi-stakeholder partnership. Participants include corporate executives, global entrepreneurs, NGO and faith-based leaders, academic experts and senior government officials from more than 40 countries along with UN agencies.
THE GLOBAL PEACE CONVENTION is a preeminent, world-level platform to share best practices and develop collaborative strategies in areas of peacebuilding, education, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, youth and women empowerment, and other fields of social impact. Following conventions hosted in Manila (2009), Nairobi (2010), Seoul (2011), Atlanta (2012), Kuala Lumpur (2013), and Asunción (2014), leaders from 44 nations representing governments, faith traditions, business and civil society.
