The Global Youth Summit (GYS), now in its eleventh year, is a celebration of youth potential that aims to engage and inspire the world’s future experts. GYS is a forum for thousands of young people to exchange ideas and put their diverse skill sets, knowledge, and networks to use in addressing today’s persistent problems.
GYS is co-organized by Global Peace Foundation and SM Cares and supported by Nestle, Bless Microfinance Corporation, Philippine Society of NSTP Educators and Implementers, National Youth Commission, Department of Education and National University.
This year, GYS will be hosted in four major locations: August 11, 2023, in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, August 19 in SM Cagayan de Oro Downtown, August 26, 2023, in SM City Iloilo, and September 2, 2023, in SM City Baguio.
The topics for #GYS2023 were chosen from the top 5 SDGs, themes, and issues that today’s youth believe are most important and to which they can make the greatest contribution (based on a survey of 1,587 youth conducted by GPF):

- SDG No. 4 Quality Education
- SDG No. 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
- SDG No. 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth
