Pencil—one of the most important school supplies. It is a tool for making our abstract ideas become concrete and visible ones.
20,000 pencils were donated by SM Cares through the Global Peace Youth (GPY) and the Global Peace Foundation to reach the foundation’s chosen beneficiary schools.
The Global Peace Women (GPW) Philippines who initiated the School Supplies Drive 2019 distributed the pencils to various public schools and ALS learning centers during its Pencil Project Turn over last June 2019.
Here are the schools who received the pencils from SM Cares and GPF Philippines:

Looc Elementary School
Tadlak Elementary School
Mariano C San Juan Elementary School (SPED Learners)
Looc Barangay Day Care Center
Patunhay Barangay Day Care Center
Cardona ALS Learners
