On October 15, 2020, in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, the Philippine National Police of Region 2 selected Sitio Pureg All- Lights Village to be their partner beneficiary of their “Bayanihan sa Barangay at BIBAR” in Sitio Pureg, Barangay Callungan, Sanchez Mira. This special project was initiated by Regional Director PBGEN Crizaldo Nieves, PNP Provincial Director PCol Ariel Quilang, and Chief of Police PMaj Stanley Banan in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cagayan headed by Gov. Manuel Mamba, LGU Sanchez Mira led by Mayor Asela Sacramed, Rural Health Unit Sanchez Mira headed by Dra. Vivienne Cachapero, National Committee Against Discrimination in Housing (NCDH) headed by Dra. Febe Villanueva, and Volunteers from Cagayan Valley Medical Center,
Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, Philippine Navy, Bureau of Fire, NGO’s.They rendered various services such as free medical check up and circumcission, free dental-tooth extraction, free opthal check up and provision of eye glasses, and free hair cut, They gave away slippers, soap, relief goods, farming seeds and donated a mini-library to Pureg Elementary School.
