MANILA, Philippines - Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres Gomez (center) and husband Richard Gomez (third from right) show a donation of 4,000 solar lanterns for Ormoc typhoon victims from the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) during the GPLC 2013 at the Manila Hotel recently. Coinciding with the turnover of donation was the launch of GPF’s Global Peace Volunteer Assembly, a pool of volunteers for disaster response.
