Goat farm livelihood launched at 5th Alllights Village





















RIZAL, Nueva Ecija - Residents of Sitio Nambabakalan, General Luna, the 5th Alllights Village, were awarded by Asian Women Goat Farming Company Philippines with one hundred five female goats last July 4, 2013. 


The program is part of the livelihood component of the Alllights Village program. It seeks to improve the living condition of its beneficiaries by providing them opportunities that will increase their daily income.     


In a Memorandum of Agreement, Global Peace Foundation Philippines (GPFP), Asian Women Goat Farming Company Philippines and Nueva Ecija Provincial Government, through the Provincial Veterinary Office, were identified as official and legal partners for the economic development of Alllights Villages.


GPFP president Dr. Michael Zablan, Asian Women Goat Farming Company Philippines manager Caroline Alzate, and the Nueva Ecija Provincial Government represented by Dr. Teresita Villanueva from the Provincial Veterinary Office, signed the Memorandum of Agreement.


Sitio Nambabakalan was identified to fit the goat farming technology. Technical assistance will also be provided to beneficiaries to make sure the program is well implemented.


The 5th Alllights Village in Sitio Nambabakalan, General Luna was inaugurated April, 2012.
