FedEx Powers All-Lights Village

FedEx Powers the 1st All-Lights Village of Tarlac in an Aeta community of sitio Flora, Maruglu, Capas, Tarlac.

On May 30, 2015 Global Peace Foundation Philippines in partnership with FedEX Philippines headed by Rhicke Jennings, Managing Director of FedEx Philippines and Indonesia. Mr. Jennings with his 31 employees as volunteers, the Local Government Unit of Capas, Tarlac represented by Mr. Virgilio Gomez, Municipal Administrator, Hands On Manila Foundation Inc., Dcip Aeta Missions-Tarlac Diocese and Samahang Mag-antsi ng Sambayanang Katutubo ng Flora, the people's organization inaugurated the solar street lighting project.

FedEx simultaneously did mural painting of school building, carpentry and painting works of their community hall and fun activities with all children of the village.

The village became brighter and safer and local people felt secured. The project helped their basic needs and more opportunities for their private and public life.
